Terms of use

These terms govern your use of unfropiagg.lat and bookings with West Clay Room (Sophie Lin), De Rijpgracht 36-H, 1059 XW Amsterdam, Netherlands. By using the site or booking a session, you agree to these terms. Dutch law applies; disputes are submitted to the competent courts of Amsterdam, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.

1. Services

We offer pottery workshops, multi-session courses, private group sessions, and studio membership as described on this website. Descriptions, dates, and prices may change; confirmation is by email after we accept your booking.

2. Bookings and payment

A place is reserved when we confirm your booking and any required deposit or full payment is received. Course and workshop fees typically cover clay for the session, tool use, and firing of pieces made in that session, unless stated otherwise. Membership fees and allowances are set out when you join.

3. Cancellation

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a workshop where possible. Course cancellations closer to the start date may forfeit part or all of the fee if we cannot fill the place. Membership can be ended according to the notice period in your membership confirmation. Consumers in the EU may have additional withdrawal rights for certain distance contracts; we will honour applicable statutory rights.

4. Studio conduct and safety

Participants must follow studio safety guidance, wear suitable clothing and closed shoes, and treat equipment and other makers with care. We may refuse or end a session if behaviour risks people or property. Pieces left beyond a reasonable pickup window after firing may be disposed of after notice.

5. Website content

Site content is for information only. We aim for accuracy but do not warrant that every schedule or price remains current without confirmation. You may not scrape, copy, or misuse the site in ways that harm its operation or our rights.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by Dutch law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury where such limitation is prohibited. Pottery involves heat, sharp tools, and dust — participate at your own risk within the studio rules we provide.
